Monique Colizzi, Instructor of Business & Risk Management at the Wilson Talent Center (WTC) was recently awarded an Excellence in Education Award from the Michigan Lottery and Fox 47 News – WSYN. Colizzi is in her twenty-second year of teaching, with the last eight at the WTC. Colizzi was nominated for the award by a former student.
On April 2, 2024, Lansing School District and Ingham Intermediate School District held a joint press conference announcing the transition of operations of the center-based programs at Beekman Center to Ingham ISD on July 1, 2024.

Twenty-four Wilson Talent Center (WTC) students placed high enough in regional competition to advance to the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference which will be held April 12-14, 2024, in Grand Rapids. Regional competitions were held over the past two weeks in various locations. Ten additional students who did not have regional conferences will advance directly to the Grand Rapids competitions.
Michigan Department of Education Press Release LANSING – Michigan’s 2023 four-year graduation rates increased in all 17 categories, according to data released today by the Michigan Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI). In 13 of the 17 categories, the 2023 rates are higher than pre-pandemic 2019 graduation rates.

LANSING, Mich. -- Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer has ordered U.S. and Michigan flags within the State Capitol Complex and upon all public buildings and grounds across the state of Michigan to be lowered to half-staff on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 to honor the life and service of Michigan State Police Trooper Joel Popp, who passed away in the line of duty.
Most Ingham ISD programs and services will be closed today, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 due to icy road conditions. All programs and services on our Mason campus, as well as ASD classrooms in East Lansing and Stockbridge, Malcolm Williams School and Project SEARCH are closed. Ingham Academy students who live in the Lansing School District boundaries will report as scheduled today as well as any Ingham ISD staff scheduled to work in a district that is open. Stay safe out there!
Stockbridge Community Schools will be closed today, Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Therefore, the Ingham ISD ASD Classroom in Stockbridge will also be closed.
